Cannot praise this hotel highly enough. The hotel is immaculate with quality furnishings. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely pool. Food was fantastic. Amazing price - very good value for money. Arrived on a Tuesday when the menu was limited and nothing for vegerarians so chef kindly made me a herb tortilla.
Arrived on a Tuesday night when the menu consisted of only two starters and two main courses. Waiters only spoke Spanish and we didn't!
Hotel was clean, reasonably comfortable
The food was awful, we had seen reviews before we went so decided just to have a sandwich which we thought would be safe . It was not , it cost 12 euros and was probably the worst sandwich I have ever had, apart form the receptionist the service was also awful, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The hotel is perfectly based for trips to Gibraltar, the beaches and for watching the migration of birds to Africa. The staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a lovely modern style but with traditional Andalucian details. Bedrooms were quiet, clean, modern with a spacious bathroom, outside terrace and comfortable beds. Hairdriers can be borrowed from reception. Breakfast was a buffet with a lovely choice of meats, cheese, bread, pastries, yoghurts and a huge variety of fresh fruit. Dinner was in the courtyard and we enjoyed the freshly prepared fish and meat dishes. The wellness centre for a small additional fee had a wonderful jaccuzi, sauna, steam room and gym - incuding a fruit cocktail whilst in the jaccuzi! The pool area was very clean and inviting, with towels available at no cost. All in all we enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay combined with bird watching and trip to Gibraltar and Tarifa beach.
Clean fresh, airy room. Staff were extremely helpful and did everything they could in very difficult circumstances.
No cafe/bar/restaurant open during the day. You could get drinks but you had to go to reception who then had to find the cafe staff. There was a large wedding at the hotel during our stay which meant the staff and facilities were stretched to their limit. Have to pay extra to use the gym/spa facilities.
